Garlic Butter Oyster Mushrooms

Oyster mushrooms have a mild flavor and a delicate texture and compliment any dish!  Serve as a side all it's own, or enhance any dish with these delectable mushrooms.  Add to burgers, steaks, seafood or chicken. This easy recipe will wow your family and guests!

  • 1 1/2 pounds Oyster Mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 gloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste



  • Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel
  • Cut the mushrooms into individual pieces of one mushroom each
  • Trim the stems (remove half of the stem)
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat and add olive oil
  • Add mushrooms and soy sauce and gently toss together
  • Stir and continue cooking until mushrooms are tender
  • Add the butter, garlic and red pepper flakes and continue to cook for approximately 2-3 minutes stirring frequently
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Add parsley when ready to serve
